About the position

Background:

• Exciting career opportunity for an Electrical Panel Wirer within a leading manufacturing company

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Electrical-related qualification (advantageous)
• Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Responsibilities:

• Mark out insulation material for switchgear in accordance with drawings and/or schedules, under the instruction of a Rate A to C employee
• Perform repetition wiring where the routing of wires is predetermined by cleats, lines, saddles, wiring channels, fixtures, or pictorial drawings
• Conduct repetition preparation of wiring harnesses on peg boards or fixtures, determining wire routes based on samples and/or pictorial drawings where no wiring diagram is used, under Rate A or AA supervision.
• Adhere to all departmental quality procedures and performing the required quality checks
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to
