We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on the SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solution.
The role is responsible for enabling platform reliability, automating deployments, and supporting application layers to ensure seamless financial crime detection operations. You will work closely with engineering, security, and vendor teams to maintain a secure, scalable, and highly available AML platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for SAS AML and supporting applications
• Support configuration, optimisation, and enablement of the SAS AML platform
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., SAS, Binary) to integrate and stabilise systems
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment setup using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Manage hybrid cloud and on-premise environments hosting AML workloads
• Monitor system performance, availability, and health using enterprise monitoring tools
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and financial governance standards
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions
• Manage releases, patches, and upgrades for the SAS AML platform
• Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning and secure configurations
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs Required Skills &
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3–7+ years’ experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
• Experience in financial services, mobile money, or regulated environments
• Strong CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
• Linux/Unix system administration experience
• Experience with SAS platforms (SAS AML or SAS Viya preferred)
• Containerisation: Docker and Kubernetes
• Scripting: Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates
• Monitoring tools: Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar
• Strong understanding of networking, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns Preferred
Skills:
• Experience with mobile financial services platforms
• Knowledge of AML, fraud detection, or financial crime systems
• Experience supporting SAS solutions in production environments
• Exposure to microservices and event-driven architectures
• Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SAS data environment Key Competencies
