About our client:

What you will be doing:
- Develop and deliver key reports, dashboards, and scorecards for the PMO and senior management.
- Provide meaningful insights into portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making.
- Analyse project and portfolio data to spot trends, variances, and areas where improvements can be made.
- Create, interpret, and present performance metrics covering budget, schedule, scope, risks, and benefits.
- Ensure data is accurate and consistent across all tools by establishing and enforcing clear data quality standards.
- Optimise and use portfolio management tools like Power BI and ServiceNow PPM to improve reporting.
- Develop automated reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce the need for manual work.
- Ensure that all reporting and analysis, including for the Project Investment Committee, are aligned with organisational goals and support strategic decision-making.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or data analysis (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) are advantageous.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in data analytics and 2 - 3 years specifically within a PMO.
- Proficient in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, as well as project management software such as Jira and ServiceNow PPM.
- Strong ability to analyze large, complex datasets and translate them into clear, meaningful business insights.
- Highly skilled at presenting portfolio metrics and insights concisely, turning technical data into business-friendly language.
- Proven experience working effectively within cross-functional teams and matrixed organizational structures.
- Familiar with PMO functions, various project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and frameworks (PRINCE2, PMI).
- Takes a proactive approach to identify and solve data and reporting issues.
- Possesses a solid understanding of business strategy and financial management, enabling the alignment of reporting efforts with organizational goals.
