Data Platform and Observability Engineer

About the position

Data Engineer – design, implement and maintain various data products including Elastic, Cribl and Splunk. Ability to engage with customers to deliver on their requirements/requests on the products.



Design and Implement on the key technologies.



Provide administration and support on the technologies.



Data management and ingestion – data source onboarding, pipeline implementation for transformation and shaping.



Data analytics – search, dashboard and alert/report skills.



Platform/system troubleshooting and remediation.



Use case implementation of data for security, compliance and observability.


Minimum Requirements:

Education:



Relevant vendor certifications for mentioned products (Elastic, Splunk etc.) – IT Degree/Diploma is preferential but not mandatory.



 



Technical skills required and number of years per technical skill):



Elastic – 2-5 years,



Splunk – 2-5 years,



Cribl – 1-2 years,



AWS data services (Athena, Glue, S3 etc.) – 1-2 year.



Preferred additional skills IAC (infrastructure as code) experience, scripting experience (bash, python etc.), AI technology experience with the above products.
