Damage Coordinator / Yard Manager

A reputable company in the automotive sector is seeking to employ a dynamic and experienced Damage Coordinator / Yard Manager to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:

• Worked in the logistics/supply chain environment for 3 - 5 years.
• Computer Literate in MS Office Applications, V-Motion and SAP
• Previous experience within the automotive industry will be advantageous
• Strong administrative and coordination skills
• Ability to manage vehicle movement, inspections, and yard operations efficiently
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy and report compilation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license advantageous
• Must be able to work overtime/weekends and shifts;
• Matric certificate essential
• Clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate damaged vehicle assessments and reporting
• Manage daily yard operations and vehicle control
• Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping
• Liaise with clients, drivers, suppliers, and internal departments
• Monitor vehicle movements and yard safety procedures
• Ensure operational efficiency and compliance standards are maintained
• Updating V-Motion.
• Damages, Incident and Repairs monitoring, investigations and reporting
• Attending, representing and presenting at the Obeya and Asekai meetings.
