Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Credit Control Supervisor to manage and oversee debtor accounts while ensuring efficient cash flow management, minimising risk, and maintaining compliance with financial processes and reporting standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing debtor portfolios, supervising credit control processes, ensuring timely collections, and driving process efficiencies within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Credit Control & Debtors Management

• Manage and maintain allocated debtor accounts effectively.
• Ensure statements are prepared and distributed within required deadlines.
• Process and reconcile all relevant financial documentation including payments, remittances, credit notes, journals, and account adjustments.
• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding payments and account queries.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve account discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain debtors reconciliations.
• Escalate late payments and support collections activities.

Reporting & Financial Administration

• Prepare and maintain monthly and daily reporting requirements.
• Compile and maintain cash flow reports and forecasts.
• Prepare aged analysis reports and ensure comments and updates are completed within required deadlines.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and maintain supporting documentation.
• Prepare account reconciliations and monitor account balances.
• Support month-end financial activities and reporting requirements.

Banking & Reconciliation Activities

• Monitor and reconcile incoming deposits and banking transactions.
• Ensure receipts and account allocations are processed correctly.
• Download and maintain banking records and supporting documents.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies where necessary.

General Administration & Process Improvement

• Maintain accurate filing systems and documentation.
• Assist in improving reporting and process automation initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve billing-related queries.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Credit Management qualification, Finance-related degree, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years' supervisory experience within Credit Control or Debtors.
• Strong understanding of debtors management and reconciliation processes.
• Experience in financial reporting and cash flow analysis.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
