About the position
Our client is looking for an Integration / Configuration Specialist to connect healthcare partners to their integration platform, which manages and orchestrates all data flow between client radiology systems and the organisation's internal systems. The role will focus on configuring and testing client connectivity, managing workflows, and ensuring the seamless operation of live integrations through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Deployment: Configure, test, document, and deploy integrations linking client clinical systems (primarily RIS and PACS, as well as EHRs, Order Comms / Referral systems) with the organisations clinical systems. Leverage integration technologies such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and REST.
- Platform Development: Contribute to the design and development of new features on the client integrations platform to enhance both client orchestration and internal clinical workflows. Support improvements in CI/CD pipelines and observability tools.
- Technical Support: Act as an escalation point for client integration issues, including troubleshooting connections, workflows, and system implementations.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare integration to drive innovation and ongoing improvement.
Skills & Attributes
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare integration, ideally within radiology.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Mulesoft Anypoint CloudHub or comparable integration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards: HL7, FHIR, DICOM.
- Networking troubleshooting experience, with tools such as Wireshark.
Desirable Experience:
- Source control, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Configuring and deploying AWS resources (e.g., S3, SQS).
- Working with databases and data transformation tools.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
