About the position

Hands-on CFO opportunity with a growing manufacturing business – Take strategic and operational ownership of a dynamic finance function.
A market-leading manufacturing and production business, that is expanding its national footprint, is seeking a Chartered Accountant to join as the CFO. This role offers exposure to strategic development, cost optimisation, and operational decision-making, while leading and mentoring a high-performing finance team. The business values empowering people and delivering world-class services, offering the successful candidate the chance to be actively involved in driving growth and change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the full finance function
  • Drive strategic planning and commercial decision-making
  • Manage change initiatives and process improvements
  • Provide commercial finance insights to support operational performance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals

Job Experience and Skills Required:

  • Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification
  • 8–10 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in manufacturing/production
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing large teams
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach
