Our client is looking to employ a Client Fulfilment Consultant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Claims Management
- Authorize/resolve claims within set mandates and turnaround times using the claims diary system
- Apply technical expertise to resolve issues using available tools and systems
- Handle customer complaints and claim rejections with professionalism and clarity
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agreements and claims handling protocols
- Accurately manage payments, service provider appointments, and rate applications
- Interpret reports and quotes to facilitate prompt claim resolution
- Operate claims systems and communication tools (Outlook, SMS, Excel) effectively
- Use online resources like Google Maps to support claims processing
Decision-Making/Problem Solving
- Treat customers fairly by accurately interpreting incidents and policy wording
- Communicate technical details with customers and loss adjusters using lateral thinking
- Investigate and report suspicious activity when necessary
- Engage calmly and assertively with difficult customers, maintaining fairness and sensitivity
- Collaborate with specialist service providers for claim resolution
Relationship Building/Stakeholder Engagement
- Streamline payment authorizations
- Improve communication and technical support
- Resolve client queries and policy amendments
- Escalate urgent claims and collaborate on contentious matters
- Ensure SLA compliance and receive mentorship
- Support growth and operational communication
- Deliver exceptional service and proactive feedback
- Maintain professional interactions for claim completion
- Support interim and final audits
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Insurance related qualifications e.g., FETC: Short Term Insurance NQF 4, RE5 (preferred)
- 4 years Claims experience, preferably Homeowners/Building Claims experience
- 5 years Short Term Claims Insurance related experience, preferably with Homeowners/Building experience (Preferred)
- Computer Literate, Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook,
