Civil Construction Manager/Site Agent - Wellington, WC

About the position

A civil construction firm specializing in infrastructure and earthworks projects, is currently seeking a Civil Construction Manager / Site Agent to join their team based in Wellington, Western Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of civil construction projects from start to finish.
  
  
• Coordinate and manage site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
  
  
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality standards.
  
  
• Prepare project reports and communicate with stakeholders.
  
  
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
  
  
• Manage site logistics and resolve issues promptly to avoid project delays.
  
  
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  
  

Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  
  
• Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in civil construction, ideally with roads, earthworks, and infrastructure projects.
  
  
• Proven experience in a Site Agent or Construction Manager role.
  
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  
  
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within project areas.
