A leading law firm in Brooklyn (Pretoria East) is looking for a Collections / Foreclosure Call Centre Agent to manage inbound and outbound customer contact on accounts in arrears and in the foreclosure/legal recovery process (Standard Bank portfolio). Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls on arrears/foreclosure and legal recovery matters
- Engage customers on overdue mortgage, vehicle finance, personal loan and related accounts
- Negotiate repayment plans and settlements within approved mandates
- Explain legal notices, foreclosure stages, and account status clearly and empathetically
- Follow up on broken promises to pay and non-responsive accounts
- Capture accurate notes, update customer details, and maintain compliant records
- Escalate complex/high-risk matters to supervisors/legal teams where required
- Consistently meet collections targets, productivity KPIs, call quality and compliance standards
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
- 1–2 years collections or call centre experience (foreclosure/legal collections preferred)
- Advantage: banking/financial services exposure, dialler & collections systems experience
- Solid knowledge of debt recovery/foreclosure processes, NCA, and compliant collections practices
- Strong negotiation, conflict handling, and phone etiquette
- Accurate admin skills, computer literate, detail-focused, works well under pressure
Education
- Matric essential; relevant collections/call centre certification is a plus

Salary
The proposed salary for the role is R7,500 per month - the final offer will depend on experience and skills.
