Purpose of the Role
The Sales and Marketing Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and integrated marketing campaigns. This role focuses on strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and enhancing brand visibility across various markets. The ideal candidate will combine a strong sales background with creative marketing expertise, preferably within the hospitality sector.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 5–10 years of proven experience in sales and marketing within hospitality or a related industry.
- Education: A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Strategic and analytical thinking with problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (SEO, SEM, social media, and email campaigns).
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility to work extended hours for events, client meetings, or trade shows.
Key Responsibilities
Sales
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Conduct product presentations, client meetings, and contract negotiations.
- Prepare and deliver accurate proposals, quotations, and agreements.
- Track and report on sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Marketing
- Assist in planning and executing effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Manage and optimize digital marketing channels (social media, SEO, SEM, email campaigns).
- Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and promotional content.
- Support the organization of trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Track and report on marketing performance and Return on Investment (ROI).
Operational Support
- Coordinate daily sales and marketing operations to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, leads, and campaign performance.
- Monitor inventory levels of promotional materials and assist with procurement and vendor management.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and internal reporting protocols.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by updating CRM systems and supporting new initiatives.
