About the position
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment: Translate strategic objectives into actionable business capabilities and architecture blueprints.
- Capability Mapping: Develop and maintain strategic business capability maps, value streams, and stakeholder maps.
- Governance Review Forums: Lead or contribute to forums like the Business Architecture Review Forum to ensure alignment with platform principles and strategy.
- BDLC Integration: Embed business architecture within the Business Development Lifecycle (BDLC), influencing solution design and capability reuse.
- Requirements Definition: Define high-level business requirements, target-state models, and implementation plans.
- Risk Change Management: Participate in ongoing risk assessments, change control, and post-implementation reviews.
- Training Enablement: Support internal capability building through structured training programs and academies.
Qualifications Experience:
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences, Engineering, or IT.
- Preferred Qualification: Honours Degree in a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years relevant business experience, ideally 5-10 years at specialist level.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret and contextualize strategy for operational needs.
- Analytical Capability: Strong skills in process analysis, capability gap identification, and transformation planning.
- Communication Influence: Skilled in stakeholder engagement, governance forums, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Framework Proficiency: Familiarity with TOGAF, ArchiMate, BIAN, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Tooling Knowledge: Experience with Confluence, JIRA, and business architecture tooling options.
Trade Finance knowledge is favourable considering we are recruiting specifically the Trade and Working Capital portfolio.
- Experience in Trade Finance and Payments projects.
- Hands-on experience with Payments and Trade systems such as EFT, RTGS, Swift,
- Calypso, RIVO, DOKA, Tiplus, eTradeport, etc. and vendor management, including working with vendors like Surecomp.
- Strong understanding of Structured Trade and Commodity Finance (STCF) specialising in cross-border financing for the trade of goods and commodities.
- Solid understanding of Payments and Trade products and services, including
- Domestic Payments, Cross-Border Payments, Letters of Credit, Foreign Bills of Collection, and Trade Guarantees, etc.
