About the position
My Client, a reputable law firm based in PTA East, is seeking a highly accurate and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on attorneys’ trust accounts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate trust and business account records, ensuring compliance with the Legal Practice Act and relevant accounting standards, and assisting the finance department in delivering timely, reliable financial information.

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on attorneys’ trust accounts.
- Relevant tertiary education would be beneficial.
- Experience in Lexpro Bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post and/or reconcile all trust account transactions in compliance with legislation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate trust account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Ensure there are no trust shortages and investigate discrepancies promptly.
- Process trust account payments in accordance with firm policies and client instructions.
- Ensure correct allocation of deposits and payments to the appropriate matters.
