Bookkeeper (Afrikaans Speaker)

About the position

Our Client is an ever-growing and competitive business in the Food Production Sector. They are currently looking for a detail-driven and organised Bookkeeper to join their experienced Finance Team.

The Company specialises in sourcing, producing, and distributing a wide range of food products to major retailers and wholesalers. With operations that move quickly and require precision, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced FMCG environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Update and adjust product costing sheets, BOMs, and margins.
• Perform stock reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure accurate inventory costing.
• Process and reconcile supplier invoices, GRNs, and supplier statements.
• Generate customer invoices, credit notes, and reconcile customer accounts.
• Capture journals, perform bank reconciliations, and assist with month-end close.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support audits by providing required documentation.
• Work with Procurement, Production, and Operations to ensure cost and data accuracy.
