About the position
Our client is seeking a Spanish-speaking Benefits Consular Team Leader who will be responsible for guiding clients through health benefits, supporting enrollment, and overseeing team performance. The role blends client education, operational oversight, and collaborative teamwork with a strong emphasis on customer service and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Education: Help members understand their healthcare benefits in a clear, supportive manner.
- Enrollment Support: Assist clients in navigating enrollment platforms to select appropriate plans.
- Communication & Support: Respond to client inquiries through phone, email, and text. Lead meetings, manage escalations, and maintain positive communication with HR.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth enrollment process and a positive client experience.
- System & Compliance Use: Operate internal platforms for communication and training; ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Team Management: Monitor performance, provide feedback, implement management directives, and support hiring and onboarding efforts.
- Additional Duties: Handle escalated issues, assist with case resolution, and address management-related tasks.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Health & Life insurance license preferred but not required.
- Background in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, insurance, or office administration is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work for extended periods at a desk and computer.
