Audit Senior

About the position

A professional accounting and auditing firm is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join its team in Vanderbijlpark. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising audit teams, preparing annual financial statements, and ensuring compliance with auditing and accounting standards. This role requires a technically strong individual with excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.

Experience Requirements:

• BCom Degree in Accounting essential
• CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or AGA qualification advantageous
• 1-2 years' experience in an auditing environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, International Standards on Auditing (ISA), and taxation
• Experience preparing Annual Financial Statements using Draftworx
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Previous experience leading or supervising audit assignments advantageous
