About the position
12. Required competence and/or qualification
12.1 Grade 12 plus maths and physical science
12.2 NQF 3 or NQF 4 Operator Certificate in Water and Waste Treatment
12.3 PC level 3 with 10 years’ experience or PC level 4 with 3 years’ experience at a class C works or higher treatment plant.
12.4 Registered at least as a Class 3 or 4 Process Controller with the Department of Water & Sanitation.
12.5 The incumbent must have a strong working knowledge of treatment technologies.
12.6 Must be able to read operational manuals and other resources to apply knowledge for the effect, efficient and sustainable management and operation for treatment plants.
12.7 Computer Literary - MS office applications
12.8 Driver's license
