About the position
Coach and support multiple feature teams and their Scrum Masters/Product Owners to ensure consistent Agile practices and delivery outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement of team and organisational Agile maturity through assessments, coaching and practical interventions.
Facilitate and/or coach key Agile ceremonies, cross-team synchronisation meetings and decision-making workshops.
Mentor less-experienced Agile practitioners and contribute to building capability through Communities of Practice.
Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to improve backlog quality, prioritisation and readiness for delivery.
Identify, surface and remove impediments blocking teams and escalate risks appropriately to stakeholders.
Define, track and report Agile metrics and KPIs; translate insights into improvement actions and measurable outcomes.
Support the rollout and adoption of scaled Agile approaches, adapting practices to the organisation’s context.
Provide hands-on coaching in the Agile toolchain (JIRA, Confluence, Xray), including templates, dashboards and processes.
Help align cross-functional teams across sites to create reliable delivery cadences and value streams.
Guide teams on quality, security and compliance expectations within the SDLC and ensure alignment with delivery standards.
Participate in stakeholder communication, workshops and governance forums to ensure transparency and expectation management.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications/Experience:
Degree in IT, Engineering, Business or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Coach in an IT / SDLC context, with demonstrable experience at scale.
Minimum 2 years’ advanced proficiency in JIRA and Confluence (or equivalent tools).
Essential Skills Requirements:
Deep practical experience coaching Scrum Masters, Product Owners and Agile teams across multiple teams and products.
Proven ability to implement and scale Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus) in an enterprise environment.
Excellent facilitation skills for ceremonies, workshops, retrospectives and Scrum-of-Scrums.
Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how Agile practices integrate with it.
Advanced proficiency with Agile toolchain (JIRA, Confluence, Xray or similar) and ability to coach teams on their use.
Experience assessing Agile maturity and designing practical improvement roadmaps.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including reporting and presentation capabilities.
Servant leadership mindset with ability to resolve team conflicts and unblock delivery impediments.
Metrics-driven: ability to define, monitor and interpret Agile KPIs and use them to drive improvements.
Experience mentoring and developing other Agile practitioners and contributing to Communities of Practice (CoPs).
Advantageous Skills Requirements:
Certified Agile practitioner credentials (e.g., PSM II/III, SAFe Agilist, ICP-ATF, CSP).
Prior experience in supply chain, logistics or enterprise planning domains.
Experience working in distributed or multi-site teams.
Familiarity with quality assurance approaches within SDLC and test management tools.
Basic understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with budget, timeline and simple resource coordination in delivery contexts.
Coaching or training qualifications (e.g., ICAgile coaching certifications).
Experience introducing Agile at team-to-domain scale and driving organizational change.
Knowledge of product management practices and roadmapping techniques.
Experience with stakeholder workshops for alignment and backlog prioritisation.
