With resilience, initiative and strong organisational skills, you balance time "on the road" with structured planning, reporting and client management. What you'll be doing You'll be responsible for developing new business and distributors, expanding sales in African markets. This involves developing clients, identifying prospects and ensuring you consistently meet and exceed budgets and targets. You'll engage with clients face-to-face, align sales activity with their operational needs, and manage the administration of both new and existing accounts. Close collaboration with R&D will be key as you brief technicians, follow up on samples and provide feedback to drive product development. Importantly, you'll play a strategic role in proposing new initiatives for export growth, building distributor and agent networks, and driving opportunities into new sectors. Where you'll be doing it A proven track record of at least 4 - 5 years at a company in business development with technical sales and a track record of success. Africa experience is a plus. You'll need strong commercial acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different countries. Experience in export sales, distributor management, and working closely with R&D will set you apart. You'll need a drivers licence and own car and the ability to travel to Africa for at least half the month. What you'll get How to apply We do respond to everyone! We're looking for someone that is accountable and able to manage their time and responsibilities well. You'll be travelling at least 2 weeks out of a month to Africa.
