About the position
Are you a seasoned B2B sales professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic industry?
Our client, a leading player in the fats and oils sector, is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to drive commercial growth and expand their market presence in the Inland region.
THE ROLE
As the B2B Accounts Manager, you'll be at the forefront of revenue generation, managing a diverse portfolio across multiple business segments including distributors, food service, and manufacturing clients. This is a results-driven position where you'll have the autonomy to identify opportunities, build relationships, and deliver on ambitious targets.
Key Focus Areas:
- Drive sales and commercial strategy to achieve budgeted revenue and volume targets
- Identify and implement new sales opportunities for revenue expansion
- Develop and service customer relationships to maximize loyalty and profitability
- Manage and grow key accounts while prospecting for new business
- Navigate market changes with agility and strategic thinking
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Account Management:
- Manage existing key accounts and prospect new business opportunities
- Negotiate profitable B2B contracts through competitive analysis
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction across all assigned segments
- Forecast management and coordination with logistics teams
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Gather and analyze market intelligence for management decision-making
- Monitor competition and recommend optimal pricing strategies
- Organize promotional activities for incremental business growth
- Attend industry exhibitions, seminars, and networking events
Operational Excellence:
- Manage credit processes for new business and accounts receivable updates
- Coordinate pallet management with internal teams
- Collaborate with marketing on brand promotion and trade shows
- Submit timely reports on customer performance and market trends
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Background:
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales and marketing experience
- Proven track record selling fats and oils in the B2B marketplace
- Strong understanding of business segments (distributors, food service, manufacturing)
- Technical ability to understand fats and oils products (or fast learning capability)
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Strong analytical and forecasting abilities
- Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills
